Best Time to Visit Goa
When to go for sunshine, value, festivals or monsoon magic.
The best time to visit Goa is November to February, when the weather is dry, sunny and comfortable and the sea is calm. But every season has its own appeal.
Peak season: November to February
Warm days around 30°C, cool nights and almost no rain. Best for beaches, swimming and sightseeing. Christmas and New Year are the busiest (and most expensive) weeks — book early.
Shoulder season: October and March
Fewer crowds and better value. October is green after the monsoon; March is warmer and good for festivals like Shigmo.

Summer: April and May
Hot and humid (33–35°C). Great for mango season and low prices; plan beach time for mornings and evenings.
Monsoon: June to September
Heavy rain, lush landscapes and waterfalls. Swimming in the sea is not allowed; our pool stays open. See monsoon in Goa.
Best time for turtles in Morjim
Olive Ridley nesting season runs roughly from November to February, with hatchlings appearing into March. See turtle guide.
