NORTH GOA
Vagator & Chapora Guide
Clifftop fort views, red cliffs and a busy fishing harbour across the river.
Vagator and Chapora sit just across the Chapora River from Morjim. Chapora Fort, 13.2 km from the resort, offers some of the best views in North Goa, looking over the river mouth, Morjim Beach and the Arabian Sea.
Chapora Fort
Built by the Portuguese in 1717 on the site of an earlier fort, Chapora Fort is now mostly ruins, but the climb is short and the sunset views are superb.
Vagator Beach
Big Vagator and Little (Ozran) Vagator are framed by red laterite cliffs, with cafés, clubs and a lively evening scene.

Chapora village and harbour
Watch fishing boats unload, eat fresh seafood and book dolphin-spotting trips from the harbour.
From Morjim
Cross the Chapora bridge by scooter or taxi — around 25–30 minutes.
