MORJIM
Where to Stay in Morjim
A simple guide to Morjim’s areas and what suits your trip.
Morjim stretches from the Chapora River mouth in the south up towards Ashwem in the north. Where you stay changes the feel of your holiday — here is how to choose.
Southern Morjim and the river mouth
The southern end near the Chapora estuary is the quietest part of the beach and includes the protected turtle nesting zone. It is peaceful, excellent for birdwatching and has wide sand at low tide.
Central Morjim
The central stretch, including Vithaldas Vaddo where Goan Cafe N Resort is located, has a relaxed mix of beach shacks, restaurants and resorts, while staying calm and family-friendly.

Towards Ashwem
Heading north, beach clubs and boutique stays become more common, with a livelier evening scene towards Ashwem.
Our recommendation
For most couples and families, a beachfront stay in central Morjim gives the best balance: a quiet beach, good restaurants within walking distance and easy scooter rides to Ashwem, Mandrem and Arambol.
